Our first look and un-boxing of the Official Gran Turismo 5 racing wheel by Thrustmaster, the T500RS.  We un-box it, install the brake mod that comes with it and install it in our Gamepod GT2 racing rig. We've had a lot of requests to check out this modification to G25 & G27 brakes. The Perfect Pedal uses hydraulics to modulate the pedal movement. Does it feel like a real brake ??

Here's a short video of the yet to be released Fanatec GT2 being used with Gran Turismo 5 running a 6 speed manual shifter and a clutch with Clubsport pedals.

We run three quick stages, one in the snow, one on tarmac and one in the dirt.  The first we don't use the clutch, but run the manual 6 speed. Then switch to full manual mode with clutch and 6 speed shifter. This is Playstation 3 running the new wheel from Fanatec, the GT2 Porsche wheel.
