As the iRacing World Championships come near to a close both the Nascar and Road Series can claim their perspective champions. Was Huttu able to overcome a slow start by his standards and come back to the top of the podium? Meanwhile, did Ray Alfalla continue his dominance around the Oval tracks? Check out the DWC winners and an overall recap of how they got there.

This week in Round 15 of the Road Series World Championships the gentlemen head to Road America. As we are winding down to the last couple of races, valuable points are needed for Huttu to defend his title. It was a battle for the win as Huttu and Luis gave it all they had. Did Huttu have enough time to reel Luis in? Check out the video to see the outcome and point shake up.

This week in the World Championship recaps the Nascar Series headed to Chicagoland for round 14. Point leader Ray Alfalla ends up qualifying out of the top ten, which led to alot of catching up to do. Can the alien make up 11 positions? Meanwhile the Road Series ends up at Mid Ohio for round 13 of their Championship, which provided the shortest track so far in the series. One might think crashes would be imminent, but the race ended up pretty clean and last seasons champ, Hutto, had to make up some much needed points. Are we going to see a new champion? Stay tuned.

Both iRacing World Championships role into Atlanta in one way or another, in this weeks recap. The Road Series jumps to the Road Atlanta course in Georgia and some valuable point manuevering due to "drop offs" come into play. Last years champ Greger Huttu unfortunately has no "drops" left, which leads to a leapfrog effect all the way down the point standings. Is Huttu beatable this year? We'll soon find out. At Atlanta Motor Speedway things heated up with multiple cautions, yet was still an entertaining race that rewarded patience.

The 1st Nvidia sponsored World Championship event at iRacing involves the Nascar Series in which they ended up at Indy for round 12. A pretty clean race in which certain drivers played the opposite strategy waiting for the yellow flags to come out. The green light pit strategy set up the winners of the race as the worn tyres wouldn't last for the drivers that stayed out. As the Road Championships headed to Silverstone for round 11 in what turned out to be an incredible race! You'll just have to watch the unbelievable highlights of passes and oh so near misses that could have crippled certain drivers in the hunt for the title.

Take a look at the iRacing World Championships where the Nascar Series moves onto New Hampshire for Round 11 of their Oval venue. A pretty interesting race where it seem to be caution free for awhile only to breed multiple cautions later, even bringing back other drivers into contention after a dismal showing by one of the top point leaders. Also check out the Road Championships at Indy for there round 10 gala. Seeing the competition for the podium up in the air until the end was truly exciting.

What a dynamite recap of the Nascar Series in Michigan, in which round 10 was filled with cautions changing the place and points of the entire top 10 drivers in the Oval championship. Can one crash change the entire standings? Then we head to Sebring where the Road Championship entered round 9. The race turned out to be a pit strategy, that would unveil the winner.  

Today on This Week In Sim Racing we bring you the iRacing World Championship race reports. The Nascar Oval Series reaches its 8th round event at Charlotte while the point crunch continues. The Road series meets for the 7th time at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California. Watch what happens toward the end of this race as its filled with drama right up until the end.

On this weeks show, we start with some iRacing World Championship recaps from both the Road and Oval series races this last week. The Nascar Oval guys went to Darlington for round 7 of 18 of their series. The Road Series ends up at Virginia International Raceway for a round 6 battle that shrinked the top 5 point standings. In the iRacing World Championships the Road course gents headed to Infinion for round 5 of their championship at Infineon Raceway and the Nascar Oval guys headed to Richmond under the lights for round 6 of their series.
