Our final review of Dirt 3. After countless stages and thousand of miles we take a deep look at Dirt 3 by Codemasters. We tested the game on the Xbox 360, the PS3 and on the PC to see if they differ. We also tested the game with a variety of different wheels to make sure they are all compatible. In addition Dirt 3 is put on the Shibami to see how its score rank against other sims.

Capturing the Platinum medal in the first drifting challenge of Dirt 3 proved to be quite difficult. This is Shaun Cole's run at the Eagle River Michigan run. It takes 15 thousand points to win. This is actual gameplay footage of the first stage in level 1, The Safari Historic Cup. In this video you will see Shaun Cole driving with a Fanatec GT2 on a pre release XBox 360 version of Dirt 3. With picture in picture you can see how well the game reacts to the wheel input. The historic Rally car being driven is the Opel Kadett GT/E.

Codemasters held a media event featuring Dirt 3 and its new party modes for multiplayer. We also sit down and talk with Gehan Pathiraja the Lead Car Handling Designer about Physics, Force Feedback and the differences between Dirt 2 and Dirt 3.

Group B is synonymous with a short-lived period in Rally where light regulation and few restrictions on car development led to manufacturers producing some of the most exciting cars that the sport has ever seen. Group B cars have since entered Rally folklore since cars with their astonishing power couldn't have been developed during any other era of the sport. Sadly, these iconic cars were involved in an increasing number of accidents, which resulted in the banning of Group B Rally in 1986.

In this exclusive community video, 2009 IRC rally champion Kris Meeke tries his hand at Kenya Sprint Rally for the first time in an MG Metro 6R4. To make things extra interesting he decides to race using manual clutch control with H-pattern gear shifting on our custom built D-Box motion gaming platform.
