An exclusive first look and review of the Thrustmaster TH8RS Shifter for the PC and the PS3. This stylish shifter is mostly made of metal and has gates that look right out of a supercar. Hey Shaun, great review as always. Question, though - it looks like it would be a bit of a pain to switch between gated and sequential mode if you're switching between car types, I.e. in iRacing. Thoughts on that?

I would seriously buy one of these... for all of the reasons in the review.
would you say this makes a good hand brake in sequential mode?... does it bounce back to center after each pull?

I got mine today. A bit disappointed. The motion is way too light, even when tightened up as hard as possible, and it's just too "dead" feeling to feel realistic. Feels strange to shift down diagonally as well.
