Presenting an interview with the North American GT Academy Champion, Bryan Heitkotter. Bryan was the first from North America in the competition that Sony and Nissan have backed since 2008. Bryan went up against more than 50,000 in Gran Turismo 5 to win his spot as a GT Academy pro driver and will run in the 24 hours of Dubai in January of 2012.

Great interview guys. You asked all the questions I wanted to ask. Obviously beside having real talent, Brian made a lot of great decisions in his quest to drive pro. Using a Bob Earl rig I see.

Did you guys ask him which sim has the most realistic physics backstage?

That one IS the most interesting question for a sim racer that you guys didn't ask, at least on the final edit.

Really nice interview. What a cool guy he is! What he achieved is almost every sim racer's dream.

I agree with kanjifreak about that question, tho I don't know if he can be fair since he's racing for GT's team.

A little thing i noticed is that you have no shifter for your T500 and he changed gear with the paddles, almost instantly. He doesent use the cluch? Maybe you use a macro or something?
