In this episode we get our hands on a new ECCI Trackstar 7000 which is the first force feedback wheel made by ECCI, or Extreme Competition Controls Inc. ECCI has been around for more than 15 years making high end sim racing wheels for  the PC that do not incorporate force feedback. See how Darin and Shaun feel about the implementation of  the technology in their wheels.

We’d like to thank Veteran Sim Racer, Rhawn Black for bringing us his new ECCI wheel to test out.

Also on this show, we take a look at Ray Brydens book, iRacing Paddock . Then we add two more cars to the 19th edition of "Top Simulation Cars of All Time"

Enjoy!

20.38 The comment about being biased has no credence, rFactor or ISI does not Sponsor ISR and have adds spread all over the site , yet IRacing does.

As with the IRacing book of course you guys reccomend it, your advertising it on the front page of your site.

Now I'm not saying your biased based on the above but merely pointing out were advertising and free speech sometimes blur. The IRacing company clearly has alot of money to spend, but if you look at their annual turnover Im sure you will find the reason they are using mass advertising to convert as many simmers as possible, is because their P&L reports dont look too glamourous. IF ISI was throwing bucket loads of advertising dollars at ISR the whole scenairio would be reversed, but they dont so your left with people believing youe biased.

Personally paying to download a car and a track and monthly subscriptions goes against what I and you guys call Sim Racing. People like myself put up their own money to run Servers for their members and other groups provide the tracks and Cars free to the community.

IRacing is big business trying to move in as they have seen a niche growing market they choose to capitalise on.
